DR. BEHRUZ JAMSHIDI
Hospital Director, Anaesthetist
Dr Jamshidi completed his medical degree in 2002 at the University of Queensland.
Since that time, he has worked in anaesthesia and intensive care throughout Queensland. This naturally led to undertaking a short stint in Retrieval medicine travelling extensively throughout Queensland and New South Wales, enhancing his skills in anaesthesia and trauma medicine.
He completed his Fellowship at Mater Adults and Mothers Hospital in Brisbane.
Dr Jamshidi is a Registrar - Associate Lecturer with the University of Queensland. He is actively involved in registrar training as well as departmental research and grant applications. He also has a keen interest in perioperative hypotension with attendance at regular meetings and conferences on the subject.
Dr Jamshidi currently works at STARS as a Specialist Anaesthetist and part time in private practice at several hospitals throughout Brisbane.
Outside of work, Dr Jamshidi is a keen soccer player and enjoys spending time partaking in outdoor activities with his family.
